Nova Scotia Association of Waste Reduction Coordinators
NSAWRC

Municipal / Private / Provincial

The Nova Scotia Association of Waste Reduction Coordinators (NSAWRC) is a forum where professionals in the solid waste industry can share advice and knowledge. The first notion of such a group started around a coffee shop table and NSAWRC was incorporated under the Registry of Joint Stocks Societies Act in 1993.

The Association aims to maintain an open dialogue among the private sector, not-for-profit groups, municipalities and provincial government agencies involved in waste-resource management in Nova Scotia while also retaining a distinctly municipal perspective.
